A forest is an area with dense overgrown by trees and other vegetation. Such areas are in wide areas in the world and serves as a reservoir of carbon dioxide (carbon dioxide sink), animal habitats, hidrologika flow modulators, and soil conservers, and is one aspect of the Earth’s most important biosphere.
Forests are a life form that is spread all over the world. We can find a good forest in the tropics and cold climates, in the lowlands and in the mountains, in the small island as well as in the major continents.
Forests are a collection of plants and vegetation, especially trees or other woody plant, which occupies a quite large area.
The tree itself is a fairly high plant with a life span of many years. So, certainly different with vegetables or grains that lives only one season. Trees are also strikingly different because has a bar staple woody upright long enough and crown shape (crown leaves) is clear.
A collection of trees are considered forest if it is able to create a climate and environmental conditions of local specialties, which is different than the remaining areas. If we were in a tropical rain forest, it was like entering into a steam room warm and humid, which is different than the surrounding farming areas. The scenery was different. This means that all the other plants and animals (up to a nicety), as well as various other inanimate elements including constituent parts are inseparable from the forest.
Forest as an ecosystem not only save natural resources such as timber, but still a lot of potential non-wood that can be taken by society through the cultivation of agricultural crops on forest land. As a function of the forest ecosystem is important in many ways as a water source, producing oxygen, where the lives of millions of flora and fauna, and the role of balancing the environment and prevent global warming. As a function of the water provider for the life of the forest is one area that is very important, this is because the jungle is where the growth of various plants.
