Sumatran tiger in the senepis landscape

An area once proclaimed as a conservation area of Sumatran tigers
Sumatran tiger commonly referred to by the surrounding community with “beliau kana” or “tiger senepis”
Sumatran tiger in the senepis landscape is not considered, due to several factors that cause lose information
In the year 2015 recorded by WWF-Indonesia there are still between 27 – 42 Sumatran tigers in the landscape senepis.

In this case, Rimba Satwa Foundation re-examined the existence of Sumatran tigers
the goal is to preserve the wildlife that is the habitat and the prey of the Sumatran tiger.
Several ways are attempted, including from changing the mindset of the community around the landscape of senepis
That is the cause of human-tiger conflict should be eliminated
the strategy is to hinder the hunting of animals and prevent the occurrence of illegal logging
because if the Sumatran tiger is disturbed, it will come to settlements or plantations that will lead to conflict.

Seen in discussions with the public that the lack of communication during human-tiger conflict
there must be communication and coordination between multi-stakeholders
the establishment of multi-stakeholder cooperation will make conflict mitigation work smoothly, at least reducing the risk of conflict that will occur.

hopefully this activity runs well and can be supported by multi-stakeholders
to be saved both sides
