"The Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road or Permai Toll Road is a toll road part of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road that connects Pekanbaru with Dumai in Riau. This toll road was built in December 2016 and was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on September 25, 2020."

Prevention of the impact of the construction of the Permai Toll Road in the area where Sumatran elephants

-Sumatran elephant tunnels were built at several points where the elephants cross.
-Greening activities are carried out in the elephant crossing area that intersects a scenic toll road.
-Carry out salting activities and planting plants that feed for elephants in the habitat of Balai Raja.
