The Rimba Satwa Foundation (RSF) is an environmentally-driven organization focused on saving endangered wildlife. Sumatran elephants and Sumatran tigers are the 2 most endangered species of the RSF.
And in an effort to save the RSF using community-based methods that directly become the recipient of the impact of environmental degradation in Riau, Indonesia. One of them is the Balairaja Wildlife Reserve which is the original habitat of the elephant to date which has been transformed into a plantation effect of entering the company and the expansion of the region.
Based on this, RSF always approach the community to listen and give information that can be used to carry out the follow-up activities that will impact on the work program. Communications, mediation and education to the community is an important activity undertaken by the RSF as an effort to save the Sumatran elephants in Balairaja.
